Talia: Good morning citizens, today we have the honour of speaking with some of those that are fighting hard to repel the invaders from our homeworld. With me today is Senior Tactician Alton Gernor

Alton: Good morning Tailia

Talia: Commander of our Molovian planetary defense force, Colonel Algimas Steponas

Algimas: Good morning.

Talia: Senior Fleet Advisor Celsus

Celsus: Good morning, and thank you for having us here.

Talia: Your welcome Rear Admiral, and finally newly arrived commander of the 8th Rio Vistas, Colonel Marus Ares.

Marus: Good morning Talia.

Talia: Now gentleman, the recent activity in this conflict has seen so drastic changes in the front and I’m hearing the possible scope of this war. Rumour has it that this invasion is another probing into Confederate territory before a full scale invasion is brought in by the Imperium.

Alton: I can assure you this is not a prelude to a full scale invasion, the force we have here is another ‘holy crusade’ perpetrated by one of the more radical factions in the Imperium. Like Tryphan we are defending ourselves not from the Imperium as a whole but from this unprovoked attack on our sourviegnity which was establish millennia ago. Not all the forces here are actually against us.

Talia: This would be the regiment that landed in Rashne City late last month, the Gallayan 15th I believe their called, lead by Colonel Vassar Kadren.

Algimas: That is correct, after his capture, we managed to show him our position in this conflict, he agreed that this war is unnecessary in the point of fighting each other. His primary concern now is the orks in the northern wastes. We are working with Col Kadren and his forces to help in driving the green skins out, but that will take time. Which is in fact the next step in the campaign.

Talia: Speaking of steps, the most recent step, Operation Jolten was declared completed recently and was the reason for your promotion I hear.

Algimas: That is correct, I will have to say that is wasn’t completed in by day 800 as promised, but the governor still granted me the promotion due to recent events. With the help of Ares’ armour we managed to not only take back Port Tyrion, but push the rebels over the Kveta River, which we plan on keeping them there until we secure our position for the next big push.

Talia: On that note it seems that our fleet had another major encounter with the Imperial fleet on 816, care to summarize that battle Celsus.

Celsus: *coughs* Yes, well we managed to intercept a bulk of their fleet in the vicinity of Brangaine. We managed to cripple or destroy all of their cruisers and even managed to capture one of their battlecrusiers.

Marus: Tell them at what cost Rear Admiral.

Talia: Rear Admiral?

Celsus: *sighs* It is true that we took heavy losses ourselves, however, the repairs are well on their way, the captured vessel has already been repaired and refitted and we still have adequate resources to defend our space if what is left of the Imperial fleet try to attack us again. Admiral Augusta is starting to reorganize the fleet and Capt Mamoru has already volunteered to lead the hunt to find those elements that escaped the battle.

Talia: This is the same captain that lead the defense versus the first assault is that correct?

Celsus: Correct she was also instrumental in secure the Tryphan system during that campaign. While she has a reputation for being aggressive, her tactics are sound.

Marus: Makes sense to send the she-wolf on a hunt, might get luckily and bag your fleet another prize vessel *chuckles*

Talia: On the other fronts, the biggest conflict seems to be between this Republic of Zeirhiem and the Imperials lead under Inquisitor Kaltos. The two forces seem to have it out for each other more then we do.

Alton: Yes, well it seems that propaganda spread by the Zeirhiem has inflamed the Inquisitor’s wrath. While as stated before, we’re not rebelling from the Imperium, just caught in a war of theology. The Zeirhiem on the other hand are true rebels, they want to break away from the ‘Imperial yoke’. While it is know that living conditions vary from world to world. What one citizen experiences on one world is not how the whole of mankind is like. However there are always those that believe that they know what is ‘best’ for everyone, even our Confederacy has had its’ share of civil wars in the past. But order was always restored and there were changes in policy due to those conflicts.

Marus: I have a agree, placing us in the same lot with those like the Zeirhiem is an insult. But we have to defend our home or else we might just turn into the image the Zeirhiem is fighting against.
