Last-but-one from Temeraire universe! I was hoping to finish the series last year, but didn't manage to. Well, this time I have better chances xD

I don't know why, but on the Wiki it was said that the name translates as "Ferocious Hunter" - I'm not good at French, but for me it sounds like screamy/noisy/VOCIFEROUS...

Anyway thinking about the name (since there was no description of the breed apart from size - about 4 tonnes, making it a bit bigger than Winchester) I thought of the loudest bird discovered. And even though I didn't like the colours for the dragon, the idea was nice.
So think this one can produce a roar worth of a heavyweight dragon and it's preferred method of hunting is to scare the prey with the sound and then chase it down. Sounds quite possible to me.
