Just a month earlier ago, i have been working on a classic computer project that involves recapping the motherboard with new capacitors and replacing the pram too. The computer in question is a Macintosh LC II and sports a 16 megahertz 68030 Motorola processor with 4 megabytes of ram and 256k of vram.
She currently has installed Macintosh system 6.0.8 and runs smoothly. Not much installed as I have cleaned it up a bit to make more space for things like games and some nostalgia.

If you disassamble the Monitor, you have to wear a antistatic bracklet on that wrist of that hand, you will disconnect the HV Cable. Before that, conneckt that antistatic bracklet to the shilding of the crt. At worst you zap your Hand wile disconnecting...... not your heart.
After disconnecting use a resistor of 10-20 M ohm between shild and HV Connector of the crt to discharge the crt........
I have disassambled a lot TV/computer crt Units......never got zappt..... but better be save than sorry....
Dont mind bad spelling or grammar, i´m german....

This brings back memories! I never personally got the chance to own one of these, but we used them in computer class in middle school. I had a blast playing "Oregon Trail" on this. I didn't own my first PC until I was in High School, and by then it was Windows 95. Which I also really miss.
Yes, WIn 95 definitely was more user friendly for the average joe. I do recall using Win 3.1 before, only a few times at school and at a friend's house. I also used a classic Apple 2 in elementery school. We even had an Amiga in one of my middle school elective classes. That couldn't have been cheap for any school budget LOL!
