If ya got a big one, it shoves you have lots of fat and would survive periods of starvation, and you'd also have "easier" to have babies, whilst a small one indicate you don't have that much nutrition x3

Just for the sake of it: I read about a lizard today, you know how cats does that "Fzzzzt" and makes their hair stand up? Well, this lizard makes a "Hizz" and... makes it's ribcage stand out... it literally pushes it's rib's out of it's skin to act as sharp weapons to scare away predators, since they would get rather difficult to swallow, and the weird part is that this wound hurts the lizard, and is in theory fatal.
But the lizard have such good metabolism and regeneration, that it just heals the wound... kinda like Wolverine ;3
