I have an idea for a transfer rig I'm planning on building. Parts needed; A repro stand, macro lens and a special custom built miniature light table with a variable colour light source. This way you can balance out the [orange] cast from the negatives prior to photographing it, making the digitizing job a simple colour inversion. (Could just as well use a colour enlarger head, turn it upside down and use it as a light table, simple as that. But a custom job built around LEDs and a simple microcontroller is way cheaper.)
