Like any person of note in the....undefined "olden times" where all the pirate shenanigans took place, Marianne has paintings of herself! One of the rare times she will put off eating someone is if they're artistically inclined, and especially so if they're putting those artistic skills to use for her. This being "olden times" before cell phones and personal cameras existed, paintings of yourself are rather a big deal!

That doesn't mean she won't, say, glut herself on navy captains and then have an artist draw her, stuffed stomach and all. But paintings like that are more for sending to foes or bounty hunters, for gloating purposes. Maybe to dissuade more of them from coming after her. (Maybe to tempt more into trying?)
