My first ever post to FA. I didn't want to leave my profile blank for too long. This is sort of a rough sketch of Ajabu, it will eventually be used to create a ref sheet - hence the close - up of his mouth with a paw up in the air. I first need to digitize and colorize the image. This is just to get an idea of his build and body type, while I still work out what I want his coloring to be, as well as any distinctive marks and features. I've got another sketch in the works, as we speak.

I did a rough sketch in light pencil and then traced over it with a finer, darker pencil. Paws are also the bane of my existence, but I can only improve with time, right? Constructive criticisms are always welcome.
Just to see how well I was able to convey this... would you say he's roaring or yawning?
