Once again I'm up way too late just so I can finish something I was inspired to work on. Earlier today (well yesterday technically at this point) an artist by the name of Robert McCall died. He did very recognizable space art (his online gallery is at http://www.mccallstudios.com/gallery_index.html), you've probably seen some of his work before and didn't know who the artist was. After seeing an article on io9.com mentioning his death and showing some of his work, I was inspired to do something of my own in memory.

I could never even hope to have his skills, but I think this is one of my better attempts. Heck, it's the first time I've done anything in colour in well over a year. I made a couple of screwups (OMS pods are missing the rear vertical/lateral thrusters, main engine nozzles are too short), but I'm still happy with the result. Hope you guys enjoy it!
