RetroInferno Please go show him some love and support, hes the reason this drawing even exists :)
A boulder blocked the way forward.
Consequently, a caravan on a dirt road came to a complete halt. Human guards armed with halberds and muskets nervously watched as a titanic woman sifted her way to the front of their formation…
"Don't worry, I'll deal with it." she said to nobody in particular.
With a great degree of grace, the draconic woman kneeled to the ground. She picked up the boulder as if it was an ordinary stone and tossed it aside thanks to her sheer size. Afterward, the woman stood back up and grasped her ax with both hands as a sly smile formed on her face.
"All clear!"
Despite this declaration, most of the caravan remained stationary and stared as the bolder gradually rolled away and moved into the far distance. They eventually began moving again, albeit one horse-drawn cart at a time.
As for the titan, she led the way. The scarlet sun on the horizon made her ruby red scales shine like individual gemstones as she walked away from the road. Her tail also swished, creating audible swooshing sounds, until she strolled into an open field. Soon, tall grass was sifting through her exposed clawed toes, and a pair of similarly large sapphire blue eyes looked upwards as the woman directed her attention to a human sitting on the top of her head.
"Did you spot anything yet, big guy?" she asked before sticking out her forked tongue.
At these words, the human in question lowered a brass spyglass. "I don't see any knolls, humans, or any other titans. I think the coast is clear!"
"Well, for now." she muttered.
From there, the human looked at the ground dozens of feet below him, and a look of concern sprawled across his face. "Are you really sure about this being safe, though?"
"Of course it is!" she exclaimed with a huff. "I got you a safety harness and everything!"
The man glanced at a rope tied to one of her horns. “Right.”
In response, the titan smiled. "Oh, and you still owe me a drink for losing our little bet. I say you give me what I'm owed once we reach the next city!"
The human rolled his eyes. "Yeah, about that. I doubt you'll fit through the tavern doors..."
"Are you saying that I'm fat?"
"Of course not!" answered the human with a sneer, arousing light laughter from the titan. "Even if that wasn't an issue, you'd probably be pissed if I just brought you a mug of ale!"
The titan shrugged, slightly shifting the human in place. "That's why I brought my own mess kit. You can always buy barrels of ale to fill up a cup of my own choosing! Does that sound more fair?"
With a sigh, the man silently extended his bronze spyglass once more with a mechanical click.
"I'll just take that as a yes, then!"
After saying this, the titan planted the handle of her great ax into the ground. She used it to support her own weight as she leaned against it. One by one, caravan carts moved by her watchful eyes, and a few humans decided to smile and wave at her. More specifically, the younger ones present. Since the titan was a one-woman army with her steel armor and gambeson of human design overlapping her leathery hide, something about that casual treatment made her laugh to herself.
"What's so funny?" asked the man on her head.
"Oh, nothing..." she replied before sticking out her tongue again, "I just wish humans hired me to protect them more often!"
