Hi, Hello, bonjour
What if you found a Nargacuga that was Palico-sized and super happy to see you? This is basically it, I think.
Been playing monster hunter for a while, with Iceborne reigniting my passion for it in a pretty big way so this piece here is just a small celebration of that, alongside me trying out new techniques and all that. The drawing style is VERY HEAVILY inspired by @cco00oo's amazing art and animation pieces, so kudos to him/her for absolutely nailing how to make things cute.

I also want to take a step back and put a few words down because of recent events and new years stuff (Wow, yeah, very late to the party).
Life has been good to me, even though at times it feels like I just straight up fail to recognize it because of a rough patch here and there, most (if not all) of them caused by me overthinking or overreacting to things by not letting the good sense filter in my head do its job properly. And that's all on me. It has taken a toll on me mentally and strained friendships and the very special relationship I have going on for the last little while now, and that just... sucks. No other way to put it. Recent events made me realize I'm very much still immature and have a lot to learn from my peers, friends and community, but also how lucky I am to be where I am today. There's food on the table, bills are paid, I have the job I've always wanted to have, someone that I actually genuinely love... So it's really not that bad.
My point in saying all this is that sometimes all you need to do is take a step back and smell the flowers. Contemplate what you already have instead of wondering when/how/where you'll get what you want, even if it's small or a life changing thing. Appreciate the little stuff, be grateful for yourself and others, breathe in and out deeply sometimes and just... let it be what it is. Relax, you know? You'll be ok. You just gotta make it ok.
That's my wish for myself and everyone out there for 2020! :D
