Still playing around with these little parrot gryphons. I have a number of friends who have adorable green cheeked conures so I wanted to do one based on them. I wonder if these guys are the same size as the birds or housecats? Got at least one more of these in me.

They are known as the Quiet Conure for a damn good reason, some of the others in the species are noisy as all hell (*cough cough* SUN Conures).
I used to have a Pacific Rim Parrotlett, a small parrot the size of your average canary, sort of a transistor parrot. I wanted another and at a local bird show was utterly shocked the Pacific Rims were averaging $300 from the breeders (imagine the prices at a regular pet shop?) But the Green Cheeks were averaging $125. I looked at one breeder who had 5 chicks, 4 of the 5 didn't want to be near me, the fifth one literally cuddled against me and under my beard. The breeder said that was an excellent sign and I agreed.
I thought I had a male for 3 years til the bird laid an egg. Guess the hens talk just as well. BTW, she laid a clutch of 5 eggs last year, let her sit on them for a week before removing them.
Right now she's huddled against my neck and ear. I absolutely adore the breed.
