Ahrima Concept
Been looking to try new things, expand my skillset, and diversify my portfolio, and as a result I've become infatuated with photobashing and overpainting as a quick and satisfying way of making semi-realistic concept art.
Drew everything before integrating photos (all free for commercial and non-attribute use, ofc), then paint paint painted over it all. You can tell I didn't slap photos together for the anatomy because it's very wonky lol. This is good, though, because it means I can learn how to properly tweak my drawings to compare better with real life. You notice a lot of things you never paid mind to before when you're literally picking apart photos.
Ahrima here is my current Lioden king. He's a lipard, and though his anatomy here is pretty poor, he IS intended to be bizarrely skinny and lanky. And this is my first time doing this so pls_be_nice_to_me.jpeg
