Hej there ^^. Recently I chatted with some friends who struggled to find good Egyptian names for their Egyptian roleplay setting and I proposed to look for some and then, I ended up with an idea : what about making a doc for people looking for Ancient native Egyptian names. so after weeks browsing wikipedia and wikitionary pages for lexis and translations, here is my compendium :D!

If the doc doesn't provide hieroglyphs, it however give quite a list of native Egyptians words and names (free from Greek, Libyan or Nubian influences). I however haven't added Coptic beside a few words, as I assumed people would prefer kemetic language,

This doc provides :
-Suffixes and prefixes that form egyptian names
-Short and long names and titles
-A dictionary of words & gods in their native form

As I am not an Egyptologist nor a linguist, I used the translation provided by the encyclopedias. Tho I did double checked that the translations don't contradict each other as well as doing some searches on my own and analyse of the naming convention and structure to provide tools for legit names ^^.
