Here's Gunndis and Dippley again. This time the target decided to fight and Dippley just took a direct hit from an energy bolt. Good thing his outfit includes a built in field to absorb most of the impact of that hit. He's still going to feel it in the morning. Bigger guys always make such good targets.
Was trying to get an acceptable energy bolt here for the impacts. Not sure if I succeeded or not really.

Ooof. That's gonna be sore tomorrow.
They're really not behind any actual cover at all, are they?
You know, this drawing has made me think, you didn't include any helmets in their design, and unless they have kinetic barriers a la Mass Effect, a shot to the head would pretty much be an instant game over.
And what's that down there, by their feet? Some sort of shells?
The bolts look kinda basic, but with that design, they would look killer if you digitally applied some color and glow to them.
Finally, something I can critique on!
The female's boobs look kinda funny. It's like they're spread out even in that tight suit of hers.
They're really not behind any actual cover at all, are they?
You know, this drawing has made me think, you didn't include any helmets in their design, and unless they have kinetic barriers a la Mass Effect, a shot to the head would pretty much be an instant game over.

They have an energy barrier, mostly stops the energy effect, but absorbs some of the kinetic also.
By her feet, kinda, those are energy cells for her rifle.
