Judy is interesting because she's been built as a rabbit. A bipedal rabbit, but a lagomorph nonetheless. A lot of fanart goes wrong by trying to make her a furred human and I think it shows that no matter how many fans she has, they prefer her more human than bunny.

It's not just fetishizing though, there's a definite tendency to draw her like Lola bunny there. Although given that most of her NSFW art seems to be sexy poses I'm not entirely sure it's 'fetishizing' so much as 'sexualizing'. This influence is most easily seen in stuff like Doxy's comics. But there's a whole galaxy of different furs out there with their own specific kinks. One of the more unusual I've seen is turning Judy into a blueberry a'la Willy Wonka.

I think it is and it isn't, and we've really messed it up by making it just a form of entertainment. Regardless, there's definitely a lot more to Judy than what sexual inclinations she may or may not have (frankly I could easily see her being fine with no love life at all), and a lot of the "art" out there not only ignores it, but flips it the bird plain and simple. Even a lot of the more decent stuff just chucks her brain right out the window, like taking her from "Nick and I only just started dating, and we have to keep it quiet because we're coworkers and Bogo would have a fit" to "OMG, we haven't even talked about this, but I'm TOTALLY catching the bouquet at this high-profile wedding right in front of CHIEF BOGO!"... in about the space of five minutes.
