"Fear not, little Christian. You are in God's house, and no harm will come to you here."
---
"... long time no see."
"Abomination! Husk! How dare you walk upon the Father's land!"
"... right. So about that. I'm back in town for Christmas--"
"Do not dare speak His name with your defiled tongue, wretch!"
"--and my parents want me to go to Christmas mass. Do you think I can get a pass for the night."
"Never."
"Look. I went here every week my whole childhood. So I drink blood now. It's a medical condition."
"Your sins run far deeper than that, beast."
"... so I've killed a few people. Do you keep every murderer out of the church?"
"Murderers can still be absolved for their sins by His mercy. But the soul of this poor Christian has moved on to its reward. Demon, what you occupy will be taken back from you on the day of judgement, and you will be cast back to the fires of hell for torment everlasting!"
"... look... it'd mean a lot to my parents--"
"Cast your lies elsewhere, hellspawn. I know your heart is empty."
"I'm not saying it'd mean a lot to me. It'd mean a lot to my parents. Just because I don't feel anything anymore doesn't mean they don't. Can you just. Let them have a nice Christmas."
"I will not help you in twisting those poor people into your net of lies--"
"Fuck's sake, dude. There's no plot. Even if I lost empathy I still know other people have emotions. This is me trying really hard to be good. Without a soul to compel me to it. That has to count for something."

You did really nicely capturing the emotions in this piece. The lighting around the eyes really helps with that.
Puzzlevision is a wonderful and beautiful world that reminds me maybe it's not always a good thing for people to get what they want, because of how much it screws up the rest of the world.
Also I'm pretty sure I'd end up eating people.

the wishes aren't really monkey's paws
the first one had bad consequences for a lot of people but it was a selfish, poorly thought out wish in general. forcing everyone to suddenly be furries caused a ton of problems and it's no real shock the wisher was lynched
the second wish to make superpowers extant went pretty well honestly, while there are a few supervillains and government-controlled-blacksite-agents, for the most part it's been a good change. the wisher is in fact a super hero doing good things in the world and no one can really criticize him for it

she's an arctic fox, so her coat shifts between brown-silver and white depending on the season
or, you know, would
she died in winter, so it's stuck forever in winter
most examples of arctic fox cubs i can find are in their summer coats, and i liked how it looked as a contrast between janet-as-vampire and janet as person

For some reason I enjoy contemplating this as a contiguous image. Perhaps after a winner wishes time out of existence, foolishly thinking that will keep their loved-ones from aging and dying. But it doesn't just prevent death, it prevents people from living too. All time exists at once yet also doesn't quite exist at all. All beings stuck experiencing their entire life at the same time while also experiencing nothing because things cannot be experienced without the progression of time. Existence and nonexistence entwined in a mad quantum dance with neither beginning, end, nor middle yet also containing all those states. This is a peculiar thing to ponder and I think I should get some sleep. But I thank you for providing your thought-provoking art, characters, and stories!
kind of an interesting parallel of a family member who refuses to accept their kin's lifestyle choices. Though in this case I'm not sure where the stubborn rigidity ends and where the genuine concerns begins since by their own admission they've been stripped of empathy and emotion from their transformation.
On the other hand who are they to judge? in case they haven't noticed, they're undead too XD
