Firstly, I missed the kobolds I grew up with which were fuzzy li'l dog guys and not little lizard things. Secondly, I just thought about all the things I love in a guy which are: bald(ing), great big fluffy beard, kind eyes and a sort of naive look about him most of the time. He's husky but strong, dresses in simple attire, and has a warm color palette. As far as overall aesthetic, I *think it's just sort of my own style that I've developed over the years.

I've actually never seen a fluffy doggo kobold before. They've always been lizards (or rats in WoW's case) in every fantasy I've ever seen or read. I wish I'd seen these doggos tho! You make them look so cute. I'm excited to see if your web comic will include other kobolds as well. I really love the design, since it makes me think of a dwarf crossed with a doggo and bundled in adorableness. :3
