Nice action shot and the sky behind him looks very well exposed. Not blown out at all. I do see some vignetting going on here so I'm curious, did you use a UV filter and a Polarizer?

Just a cheap UV filter. I need to pick up a multi-coated one. I lost my polarizer.. good opportunity to get a multi-coated one of those as well.

This is on the new D700 I just got though, so 28mm is pretty darn wide since it's at FX-size. The filter might be causing that bit of vignetting. Not that it's bad though, I usually shoot for darkening the sky up a bit with a polarizer.

I saw from the exif data posted on the right that it was from your D700 with 28mm focal length :3. Very cool. Yeah I got a Hoya Pro1 Digital filter on Ebay from China for like $20. Works wonderfully! Got a polarizer I think for around 25-35 same place. Love them both! Just found that it's not good to stack the two when using my 24-70mm :x.
