Hey noodle what did you do today?

Well I woke up around 7ish or 8ish, then Debbie made me a breakfast of potates and cheese and egge on toast. I ate it then after we all went outside, where we saw some big ol' iguanas lizarding around the trees on the property! We all decided to head down to the beach, and though the stairs were a bit borked from the hurricanes a few years ago, we were able to get down them to play in the ocean!

We all had snorkel gear, but our plans of seeing the treasures of the deep were not to be, as the high winds and large waves churned everything up and made floating on the surface too difficult. Instead we just played in the waves, then when we got bored of that we headed up to the house and swam in the super cold pool! The hot tub wasn't working because some aspect of the heating unit had fried, but that was fine...Cold water is better! <3

Around 1ish I got out and had a bowl of cereal and some Dorites, then after getting Debbie's phone (it has roaming data) I grabbed the keys and drove to the airport. Yesterday the roads had been harrowing, but truthfully the trip to the airport seemed to go by quickly! I got there without much incident (tho I did see a massive chungus of an iguana on the way there, lying beside the road, and at another point I saw a boulder roughly twice the size of my head lying in the road after presumably falling from the nearby mountain), then got a ticket and parked. I went inside the airport and waited.

It was about 2 when I arrived, and they didn't get off the plane until about 3...But I had fun looking at people and making up backstories about them. Also it helped that Debbie had a pic of Beth and Steven on her phone, so I was able to remember what they looked like! They arrived and I held up the sign, and they were happy about that! Beth went and changed into shorts and I walked them out to the car.

Originally, we had planned to go to the beach where you can see planes flying super low, but when we got about 2/3 of the way there Katherine texted us and said she was almost through security...Hecc, her plane was early! We turned around and by the time we got there she and Katie had just gotten out of the security area. I helped them pack their bags into the car and then we drove to the gate...But apparently I had to pay elsewhere. Hecc!

I had Katherine go and do that with my credit cord, but apparently they only took cash so she had to pay. Free from the airport, we were able to drive and head to the super big shopping center (Carrfou). We couldn't get a cart since we didn't have any Euros, so we each grabbed baskets and shopped. I grabbed a bunch of alcohols and also some fancy sodas (also Pebis), then we all got in a line to check out. Beth and Katherine both refused to let me buy their groceries, and they put the separator up to ensure I followed their ideology! Double hecc!

Even worse, when I was checking out I realized I had forgotten cigars, so I had to quickly run to the customer service to get some, but they were on island time and it took them forever to get what I needed, and by the time I returned Steven had paid with my card and said we had to get back in line...But the cashier lady was super nice and let me buy the cigars there, tho I had to use cash since the purchase was less than $10...And all this time I was eating an apple Steven had given me!

We got back in the car and headed back to the house, tho en route Google decided to take us on an I-don't-know-where trip and I had to do some funky U-turning to get back home...But we got there and I was able to relax and enjoy some pretzels and a cold Pebis. We all decided to then head to the beach, and while waiting for everyone to get ready I was using the pool skimmer as a net to try and find iguanas, but they were all hiding. I gave up that when everyone started walking down to the shore, and this time I wore shoes!

While down there I went inside this big storm drain with Keith (it was like a cave!), then I chatted with Katie as we walked to the rocky part of the shore. I found some seashells there and then when I saw everyone leaving I skidaddled back to the group. We climbed back up to the villa and then relaxed for a bit. I was nodding off and dad suggested I go with him to jump into the cold pool. Okay!

Lemme just say that after jumping in I was no longer sleepy! We each stayed in there for only a couple minutes, then jumped into the hot tub...Which was warmer, but not by much, and soon that even felt too cold for us!

We went inside and I changed back into the clothes I'd worn earlier (since they were dry) and then we all enjoyed a spaghet dinner with mushrooms on top and cheese and garlic breab. Dad said a toast and we all ate, then after the plates were cleaned up I went to the living room to relax, but people were playing a noisy game so I went outside with dad and mum and Katie, but she left and Amber and Levi came outside and I made a big fart and I told mum I'd go to the bathroom, where I had time to write my noodle entry!

After that I went back outside and chatted with people, then eventually I decided I wanted to try going to bed...But I needed to charge my phone first, so I headed inside and saw that Katherine and John and Keith were still awake. Katherine and John were pretty good to talk to, but I'm pretty sure Keith is on the spectrum, and he'd keep interjecting conversations with factoids, so in order to have an actual back-and-forth conversation with the people there, you had to wait until he finished. Eventually he did go to bed after Katherine left (She said I should revisit my Arthur v Quixote story!), which gave John and I some time to chat. He works at Amazon and thinks my ideas are paranoid...Possibly true, but still!

He worked on an origami 8-sided die (only the edges tho) and when he finished with half of it he went to bed. I decided to head outside and browse my phone for a bit, but because it started dribbling rain I headed inside. I did a little more rowsing and ultimately went to bed around 3 AM.
