A fun little experiment! My thumbnails tend to look kinda cute before I sketch over them with realistic proportions. This time I kept the smaller form with a looser rendering style and designed the rest of Gao Shuang's body. It's simplified, but I'm confident this will help me draw him more realistically in the future haha. I think I'll continue to do this with other creatures :D
