I ran into my old improvement meme so I doodled another one at work. So to accompany it, is a huge blurb about how I feel about my art lol.

Honestly, my feelings haven't changed much. I still feel much the same.
I remember also being extremely proud of the 2018 one. I think it looks like crap now lol. However, I still think my feelings are valid.
I did the best I could at the time and the one now is the best I can do right now. It's not perfect in the slightest, I can see errors.
I don't really have any set style either. I'm slowly just drawing what I like though, and I hope over time it will develop into something I can be 100% happy with.

Another noticeable thing is the severe color palette & coloring change. 2017 was fairly based colors, full saturation. 2018 was experimenting more with colors. 2020 is very muted color palette with more purple shading.
I find I really like almost washed out bright colors. It can be a little jarring to look at times but it's...nice.

Anyway, my goal for 2021 is graduating from the crayon style brush lol. I find my lines look boring without it but hopefully???
