As the regular hoodlum residing in the slums of Nivamah, Stephanos Mito one day got arrested after being caught murdering the child of a police officer.
After several outrages which led to a few dead inmates, there was no choice for security but to put him in isolation for the rest of his sentence.
To relieve his anger and boredom in a dark cell, Stephanos fantasized about being in another world far from the present, which got more comfortable the more he thought about it.
It flashed back to his childhood of loving Greek myths and battles in antiquity. These years inside his fantasies however got him more disconnected from reality and slowly descended him into madness.
As he got out, Stephanos believed he was a soldier in Ancient Greece and started to dress up to impersonate a Hoplite and go out on his "campaigns to repel his foes."
That is, running around the slums, piercing his victims with a sharp metal fence pole.
Feared and infamous in the city, he one day got approached by a manager of a fighting club. He was promised wealth regarding his unchallenged raw power, in exchange of not killing his opponents.
Stephanos agreed and took the name of a legendary king in Ancient times as his moniker in the ring: Minos.
In just a few short months, Minos climbed the ranks as a fighter to the championship where he claimed the title in a flash.
As the crowd cheered and called out his name, the mixed feeling of love, hate and happiness made him express a smile for the first time ever since he was a child.
That was until he got challenged and defeated by Ehrnir.
Even if Minos reclaimed his title after fatally wounding Ehrnir in a rematch, he still felt humiliation in his loss and decided to not smile again until Ehrnir is gone for good.
Replacing his horns for steel, he vowed to find and kill Ehrnir the next time they meet.Artwork by sparksstars
