So, yeah. This be Synge from my comic Scorch. I haven't really drawn much in the way of 'human' type peoples lately and I'm pretty pleased with how this came out. The Celtic stuff in the background actually does have a purpose as well, besides being just nifty looking. When I was trying to figure out the storyline behind Scorch I knew first off that I wanted to base quite a few things on Celtic and Nordic myths, religion, etc. and the Burning brothers are based on a legend of the Moddey Dhoo, or the Black Dog of the British Isles. Now, of course, Synge and Cynder are slightly albino, but the idea behind it is the same.
