Stepping away from Throttle/Jet to give some much needed love to Chassis and Modo. Or, as I am calling them, Team Moodring Glowstick. Why? Well, the answer is simple.
In my universe, both Chassis and Modo are empathic psychics - Chassis is trained, Modo is not and uses his ability on a subconscious, instinctual level. A gut feeling, if you will. When empaths are in sync with one another, their antennae tend to glow with a color that corresponds to their foremost emotion, at an intensity directly proportional to the strength of that emotion.
And, while this picture might make Chassis seem very, very tall, she is, in fact, ridiculously tiny (by Martian standards) and is currently being held aloft by our sweet gentle giant.
