As I listened to Owl City’s “Fireflies,” so many emotions ran through me at once. First, I recalled a memory of my childhood where it was a warm summer’s night. My family and I were coming back from dinner at a restaurant and as we neared a cow pasture that’s directly across my front lawn, I could not believe my eyes as I saw how the field was sparkling with so many fireflies. It was just so magical and it seemed there was a hundreds of them. I can still remember the relaxed and floating emotion of that moment in time and I decided to portray this moment.
