This was meant as a soundtrack but got a bit too long, so if anyone know what parts I can cut out, feel free to tell me. Because I can't decide for myself.

Though this is normally not my kind of music, I think it has a very nice "big" sound. While four and a half minutes aren't much for a song (some of mine exceed eight minutes, and they are vocal songs), maybe you can indeed cut a little repetition if you have to. Then again, as background music, I really don't mind having this running for its full length. It's good to relax to!
Let's see.. the "light drum" part in the beginning before the heavy part comes in... oh, but then you're doing layered progression for about the rest of the piece. Almost impossible to say where to cut really. Some parts in the middle sound very alike, I suggest you get rid of some layer buildup passages and allow two layer changes at once.
