[[NOT MY ART]]With A Little Help From My Friend
"Gods, this armor weighs a ton," a human mage grumbled as as he lifted a paldron from the armor stand behind him. The piece of protective gear was oversized, too large to fit on any human warrior. Thankfully, it was just big enough to fit on the red dragon standing before the spellweaver.
"No complaining," Arix said with a toothy smile, "I'm accompanying you to the High Wizardry Council so I can make sure you stay out of trouble with that crazy cult. Besides, you could have just used your magic to slip it on, couldn't you have?"
"Hmph," Danathius replied with a huff, "where's the fun in that? I've always liked the idea of strapping on armor, but I hate wearing it myself. This way, I get to live vicariously through you." The mage grinned before grunting as he heaved that heavy shoulder plate through the air and placed it carefully on the large red's forearm. Arix had fortunately lifted his arm up to the mage, which made getting the pauldron situated on the dragon all the easier. With the metallic covering seated carefully, Danathius reached around and started to buckle the loose straps, securing the armor to the dragon's body.
"Thank you, by the way," Arix said, smiling down at the human buckling his pauldron.
"What? Why? I should be thanking you," the mage retorted, still smiling.
"It's a pain to do this by myself. It's nice to have a little help from a friend," the red nodded his horned head at the mage before he blinked at the human. "Oh, Danathius! You're doing that thing again where your cheeks turn as red as my scales."
Danathius grumbled and immediately reached up to flick the dragon on his snout before continuing to dress the dragon in his armor.

This is a lovely scenario with Danathius and Arix, with the mage helping the dragon put on his armor! Armor looks great on anyone, but it looks especially fantastic on dragons. <3
