Tonalli is a nagual who was held in Mictlan but has managed to escape and is on the run. He attempts on invading the world by turning people into were-beasts.
Personality:
Tonalli is a prideful man who thinks being a were-beast is a superior species and encourages (persuades) others into becoming one. He acts to further his own goals, which is why he was taken prison in Mictlan for attempting to turn humans in a small village into naguals.
He is someone who follows those he likes, but feels no particularly obligation to such people, making his alliance with P. Ruby less assured, as he is only interested in using her abilities to grant his wish.
Despite his prideful and aggressive personality, he acknowledges that he was a completely different man before turning into a nagual, and traces of his old self are still somewhere inside him.
His original goal was to spread nagualism, but his imprisonment in Mitclan was resulted in a misunderstanding resulted in him becoming obsessed with turning people into were-beasts like himself.
Ability:
Becoming stronger by consuming blood
As literally stated. When consuming blood, his strength increases and becomes more aggressive, being more animal like during battles. Tonalli states that a single drop of blood can grant him super strength for a minute. He actually rarely consumes blood and only takes a full amount only when necessary.
Occupation:
Tonalli was a human aztec warrior before turning into a nagual. While is still maintains his warrior duties, he was taken prisoner after he attempted to turn a village into naguals. He escaped mictlan and is currently a wanted criminal.
Possessions:
Tonalli possesses a container filled with blood which he consumes during battles. The container is mostly full as Tonalli rarely drinks blood to maintain his sanity.
History:
Tonalli was once a human aztec warrior who was born to become a nagual. While most naguals are neither evil or good, Tonalli just happens to be on the wrong end as the nagual are becoming extinct and his desire to spread word of their species. He had been arrested for attempting to turn a small village into naguals and was taken prison in Mictlan, the underworld in aztec mythology.
After years of imprisonment, Tonalli escaped into the living world and continues to fulfill his desire of turning humans into were-beasts.
Relationships:
P. Ruby
As stated above, Tonalli is only interested in P. Ruby for her abilities to grant wishes. However, since she cannot grant a permanent wish, she instructs Tonalli into using Michizane's ability to allow his wish to be granted, causing the parasite incident.
The Agency
Due to causing the incident in Henkei/Greenville, Tonalli is high on the agency's list of criminals and is currently avoiding them. Shou dislikes Tonalli for causing days work of damage control, Marko thinks Tonalli is just misunderstood, Anthony tries to talk him down from his desires, Clair wants to turn Tonalli into a plush and Kirisame simply wants to capture him.
Sasayaki Oshoku
Despie not being aligned with the her, Tonalli is often manipulated by Oshoku's followers and his desire of spreading nagualism may have been twisted by Oshoku into what he currently seeks.
