Still figuring out a fresh art style before I can start my graphic novel reboot. But I'm getting close now.

Those are my original characters Kevin, Nigel, and an unnamed... girlfriend? One of Kevin's bitches. Girlfriends get to have more privileges in his presence, now that I think about it. Like, talking. At all. Maybe that's why nobody knows her name.

I had fun figuring out her hair color because absolutely anything will look cool on a black-white character. In the end, I chose a more subtle color though since she's not an anime main character.

Kevin is the boss of a rival mafia, Nigel is the vice-boss. In contrast to my story's biggest mafia boss, old Senanca, they have a more aggressive than gentleman-y approach on things. Eventually, their youth and cunning will clash with Senanca's life-experience and wisdom.

The animals those three here are based on are mandrill, hanuman langur, and ring-tailed lemur. I filled the ghetto parts of my cities with monkeys because it felt right. Monkeys in general are terrifying. I keep seeing feral humans in them.

Kevin's single mother is a baboon, by the way.

I may also add angry chimps somewhere because they know how to squeeze out your eyeballs with their fingers, bite your belly open and start eating your organs while you're still alive and screaming.

By the way, don't google what a hairless chimp looks like. Don't youtube it, either.
