Bio: Mekori is a lovely, 8ft tall Winter Meganium and mother of one. She comes from a snowy region south of the world. In this snowy region many pokemon adapted to the harsh cold, embracing the ice typing.

Mekori is what you’d expect from a mother. Kind, sweet, gentle, thoughtful, so on and so forth. She loves children and is great at keeping them entertained and happy.

Her ‘hair’ is made of cold leaves, reaching down to the base of her neck. Her two antennae move simultaneously and can emote her emotions more so than her eyes. Her eyes are a dark blue, but you’ll rarely see her open her eyes. She’s just like Brock!

You will mostly see Mekori at her home next to the Zygarde shrine atop a hill right by the ocean or wandering the towns market areas. By the shrine she’s always wearing her Kimono up until the colder seasons.
Mekori isn’t known for her fashion sense when going around town- mixing up random clothes, such as a sweater and sandals! What on earth was she thinking!!!

Mekori gets along well with many of the other characters. She shows a fondness for Lar, seeing her daughter crushing on him. If only he were a little older for Mekori herself... ahuhuhu~
She’s good friends with Mila and Bellaria, tall girls gotta stick together!

While Mekori seems innocent and sweet... she has a deep lewd side that not many will see. Enter her bedroom and snoop around a little... you’ll find all sorts of things. Perhaps she’s missing her old lover and yearns for some sort of intimacy. She doesn’t let this get to her mood though and stays positive. She’s very welcome for guests into her room...

The Journey: As stated before, Mekori and her daughter come from a snowy region far in the south. The land isn’t barren per say, many pine forests and ice types live there.

Grass types struggled to live within the extremely cold climate. Many Pokemon left, but those who remained adapted, the majority of Pokemon becoming part Ice type similar to how Pokemon in Alola adapted to the differing environments. Now the land is frozen over, and only the coldest of Pokemon can survive there.

Upon reaching the semi-tropical island and moving in to Sonnige City, Mekori and Bayuki took many years getting used to the new climate. Maybe in the future they may revert back to pure grass types.

Mekori would end up making friends with an Alolan Ninetales and their daughter. Both being regional variants, they hit it off instantly. The Ninetales was a shrine maiden, attending the Zygarde Shrine. Through this newfound friendship, Mekori and Bayuki were offered a home at the shrine. Grateful for their kindness, they decided to repay the Shrine by tending to it along with the Ninetales family.

Relationships:
. Bayuki is Mekori’s one and only daughter. Though Bayuki wants more freedom and agency for herself, the two are very close and their relationship is strong.

. Lar and Solana are good friends of Mekori and they help her out with a variety of things. They’re mostly friends due to Bayuki’s friendship with Lar. While Bayuki has a crush on Lar, even Mekori see’s a lot of admirable things in him. Mekori does her best to keep these feelings to herself but sometimes they may slip out.

. Chikorita- A winter Chikorita who is the exact same species as Bayuki and Mekori but isn’t part of their family. Mekori and the Chikorita met in town, and they quickly became friends. Bayuki however gets extremely jealous of the Chikorita.

. Mila, Bellaria and Selina are Mekori’s closest friends, all being the tallest girls of the bunch…minus Selina, haha! You’ll see them all hanging out and chatting at a café. Mila is the only one to not meet up as she’s either busy of hanging out with other friends too. However, Mila gets to open and chill a little more with Mekori, getting to just ‘girl out’ for a while.

. Mekori and Bellanette get along but aren’t close friends. They chat occasionally and indulge in each other’s work. Bellanette loves to learn more about the shrine, and Mekori loves a good bathe at the bathhouse. Through Bellanette she’s made a good friendship with Mélanie as well.

. Mekori and Vexa usually attend the same baking events, they get chatting a lot, gossiping often.

. Mekori and Karina’s mother Abby are very close, this also leads into Mekori getting to know Karina quite a lot. Mekori gets cuddly with Karina- maybe it’s just her motherly attitude shining through.

. While Sharna isn’t a friend to Mekori, she seems to act a lot more polite and formal when interacting with Mekori or any motherly figure.

. Chiyer is a potential love interest of Mekori. She’s a regular visitor to his barista café, and she seems to have a fondness for his demeanour and the heat he radiates. She tries as often as possible to get close to him… success varies.

. Darkria gets lewd with her when Mekori REALLY needs some relief.

. Oli & Giza see Mekori as a sort of Mother figure. Mekori takes care of her as the Zweilous lives close by the shrine.

. She often visits Rigel who lives in a town nearby to talk about history and the island, as well as other things.
