I felt like drawing a sci-fi scene, and I felt like drawing a night scene too, so I did both. I don't draw robots enough, they're awesome. I don't draw nighttime enough either.
The skyline is somewhat Mega Man inspired, they always had really interesting looking buildings in those games. And the guy's clothes are vaguely inspired by mecha/fighter pilots from various anime. The title, of course, comes from a song from Chrono Trigger (the best song from the game with the best music).
