My mohawk grew out.
I'm waiting until just before AC to get it highlighted and cut again,

Mop is ok, I personally think messy hair is a good look on most people xD They work too hard to make their hair perfect when it's fine just normally, like brushed up :P
I died my hair n stuff but the most i tend to do it just straighten the ends. Otherwise I just brush it over and BAM - hair is fine. xD
