Jeezzz! And I thought that I had seen some scary people while flying. On one flight, a thoroughly loaded guy insisted on showing me his foot long butterfly knife right there on the plane. He said that he carried it through the detecter, but that it didn't pick up titanium. If the gate had a magnetometer rather than an conductive object detector, that certainly would have happened. In any case, there it was,,,
