Punxsutawney Phil Vs. The News
It's Groundhog Day again! So here's my grumpy groundhog again, this time, he's guzzling some beer and watching the news with obvious distaste.
I'm honestly not big on the news, either. If I wanted the news, I'd go on the internet or read a newspaper. Watching the news is kinda boring. People watch TV to be entertained, not to be informed. The newscasters on these stations just make things worse. Some of them are either lying or boastful. What's even worse is that if there's a crime like a murder or a bank robbery, they sound really condescending and egging the culprit on. Phil really hates the news because of how he's often portrayed. The days of weather predicting are over for him. He just wishes that everyone be more concerned about their own lives and calendars rather than turning every little thing into a media frenzy.
