a group/species/gang(?) of rats and other rodents (rats and mice but also squirrels and strangely oppossums) with unknown origines. they wear there on brand of rubbery, inflatable clothers in black, neon-green or neon yellow that resemble hazmat-suits, often decorated with bio- or atomic hazard symbols. gasmasks are popular accessories, tattos and piercings are optional but also popular. they may play the hard gangers but in truth they are very social, easygoing and always ready for a good party. it's not hard to get into the gang and there known to adopt orphan or lonly people( if they want it or not). there also viral, everyone that hangs too long around a group of plaguerats will slowly change. they will start to wear the same stuff, will beginn to talk like a plaguerat, will take on there attitude and in the end will become more and more rodentlike. after a couple of weeks the person will change complete into a plaguerat and neither the former person nor is new friends will remember that it was ever different.
