[Sketch from Omnoproxy] I'm Inspiring?
Hey,
Altia needs some good talk about her background and all that, it's character building and good for her to have some sort of actual depth to her personality rather than just being a foot and leg focused character. In this sketch I got from
omnoproxy a long while back, we can see Altia be put out of her comfort zone just in terms of work-out equipment. Being fourteen feet tall means that using a regular rack is not going to work as well as some people believe, and vice versa - if you're ever invited to try out then you often have to jump to get at everything - means it's all so tiresome. But, things take a slight turn for the expected as the roles are reversed from twenty years ago. The worry that persists is whether or not this means she's on the downwards slope afterwards. Ex-Olympian surely sounds like it.
Story below!

“How am I supposed to lift in this?” Altia’s voice was as loud as she was tall. Her usual haunting ground was closed for the weekend due to maintenance; someone apparently dropped a literal ton of weight from a deadlift and the floor shattered beneath them, she had to find somewhere else to work on her workout. Why no one decided to boast about their gym’s ceiling height on their website was beyond her, she would have thought that every single one would’ve adopted’
‘’m the twenty-foot ceilings by now to accommodate the tallest lifters amongst them.
Apparently not, Altia was dismayed to see that the racks barely came up to her waist and the room was curiously sparse of things that she was used to. All part of the sacrifice, she told herself. She was, as some was putting it, making do. The wrong answer to her question was given by someone with a smarter mouth than head and called, “with your legs,” out to the gym and resulted in a yoga ball being kicked his way at Mach four by the displeased kangaroo. There were no more comments made.
“Excuse me,” whispered a small voice behind her in an accent that was startlingly familiar. Altia turned and looked down, at her height she never needed to look up, to see a koala nervously tugging at her leggings which possessed enough material in them to give the girl an entire wardrobe.
“Hello, little one,” Alita knelt down, realised she was still taller than most people in the room, then laid on the floor as if press-ups were called for.
“You were on TV, weren’t you?” she was asked. Altia nodded.
“A few years ago, yes. Did you watch me?”
“You can jump really high,” they squeaked. “I’ve tried to beat you!”
“If you try really hard, eat all your vegetables, and listen to your mum then I’m sure you can get there,” Altia said nothing about how she was fourteen feet tall and the girl was maybe three at most. But, she thought, that wasn’t the point. “And don’t give up when you get there. I jumped twenty, now I’m looking for twenty and a half.”
“I’m going to jump to the moon!” she cheered.
“No,” Altia started, and the girl looked surprised. “You’re going to jump to the moon first, then you’re going to the Sun, then all the way to Jupiter, the big red one.”
“That’s a long, long way.”
“It’s not impossible,” Altia promised.
“Then I’ll do it,” came the next cheer, then she hugged the kangaroo’s arm, it was the only thing she could get her arms around. The little girl ran off, leaving the giant ‘roo to stand up and return to her towering stature over everyone. There was lightness in her heart that made her chest swell; the young sweetness had done it. Not that she had had the same thing when she was just a joey, the steel grit in her heart was home-forged, but to have someone come up to her like that? Ahh, the ever-present doubts could be pushed back for once.

Altia still has that leg strength. Normally, she uses her paws for stomping and smothering, but it's awesome to see her use her paws for kicking. I was surprised to know she kicks hard enough to turn an object into a Mach four projectile. It's official. Her legs are deadly weapons, lol. That being said, I feel bad for Altia because for once her height works against her. It's very hard to find equipment suitable for her build since she's 14 feet tall. The scene with her fan was very sweet since it shows a side of Altia that's very sweet of her. Normally, we always see her punishing or terrorizing Aspen with her paws or convincing her students to join in on the fun. Here we see her motivating a fan to achieve her dreams. It's a very sweet take on our paw-mistress and I love it.
