My workplace had a dress had a pirate day. So I figured why not draw an animal dressed up like a pirate. My general thoughts of pirates were that they always violate the laws of the fleet, and they don't care about what the authorities say. They're basically thieves, hostage negotiators and murderers. And if you see an eyepatch, a hook, or a pegleg, the general assumption is that they lost a body part in some gory manner. Sounds sterotypical, but if you're drunk on rum and fight dirty, some things you just can't avoid.
