Son to the CEO of Maharaja Corporation, Bumdeyada was raised and trained as a tool to assassinate his father, with his handlers hoping the elder Rakshasa would be taken aback by their sudden reunion and fall to his blade. Perhaps fortunately, Yada’s skill with the blade reflected his karmic placement in the world - born as the lowest form of Rakshasa, a meager Raktavarna - and unable to land even a single blow with his blade. Left in tears after his utter failure, he was shocked to find his target equally moved to waterworks, embracing the young snake and telling him that everything would be okay. They were together now.
After some much-needed family bonding, Bumdeyada now serves alongside the adopted Azidasa in the Wandering Stars, playing the world’s edgiest shamisen. Azidasa readily accepts him as a brother, and though Yada remains nervous about his newfound lot in life, he nevertheless strives to help spread the Good Boy lifestyle with their music.
Fans find his nervous innocence quite endearing, and he tends to place quite high in popularity rankings thanks to that vibe.
I made a cyberpunk Anizhar, so of course I had to make a cyberpunk Bumdeyada. Anizhar's hapless raktavarna son is just too adorable to leave out. I designed this look with the implication that this was Yada after a while of being with Anizhar, that he might have somehow moved a couple of steps up the Rakshasa ladder so he's not just a limbless snake any more. Despite that, he's comfortable with looking like a snake, but he's starting to grow in some of his dad's features (Hence the mustache and beard). I decided he needed to look like an edgy teenager, complete with a black and red hoodie with samurai armor on it, and those cute tabi socks. He's in a band with Azidasa and Gauzhe. He's the bassist.
