A Hossifer badge from

Apparently "Skinny White Guy with Glasses" is in a lot of films.
"You see, sir, I'm an expert on aliens, and I'm telling you that you can't greet them with bazookas! They'll have no effect on them!"
It's like I was born to play the part of Dr. Nerd. Thank you, thank you. :)

So I guess I totally saw you at FC when you were wearing Hossifer, but I didn't know it was you at the time (i told you about those hotch badges).
I was sad because I wanted to be a big ole' nerd and talk to you in person about how happy I was that your art had introduced me to the fandom all those years back. :p
I guess I'll try to say hello next year? XD

Oh!!! Thank you so much! You definitely seem to be having fun in the fandom, so I'm really honored that my work was able to interest you in the community.
I didn't mean to 'hide' as Hossifer so much at the con, but I really was having fun being in a male fursuit this time.
I hope I can go to FC next year. It's so expensive for me without a job, so it's tough.
Hotch seemed very sweet and I'm glad to have met her. She seemed a little nervous around my nervousness, but I didn't mind. :)

I guess it's part of the furry community really. It so easy to hide behind whatever and thus neglecting there's anyone behind all this description or smut or whatever.
To be frank I've become so stereotypical I imagine most of the better artist look sort of unattractive (Jealousy or Generalization? You chose :P) So therefore I find it refreshing to see someone I consider a great artist can also manage to look good as well :D
What're the odds, eh? ^_^

I've gone to so many conventions now and I haven't found a large percentage of unattractive people at all. In the last ten years, I've seen a huge influx of fashionable guys and girls in their 20s. Some of the older crowd like me are still sticking around though! There's always a few bad apples that people remember, but I'd definitely say the average con-goer and the average artist are normal clean-cut looking people. :)
Huh? I only wear the fursuit at cons, and I haven't worn it in a year. I draw the Roxikat character. As an actor, when I wear the fursuit, I act like the character.
I'm not acting like a girl right now, and I don't for most of the year. I've never told people I was a girl in real life.
I've been in the fandom for 15 years doing this. But thanks to YouTube, new kids stumble onto my FA page everyday and seem to feel cheated that I'm not a girl. :(
