These two are one half of an all-gnoll delving team from the slums of Rethark called Gnoll More Heroes. They are all orphans of the Great Gnoll War seeking to make a place for themselves in the world.
The two characters shown here are Mik and Arkhet.
Mik is a short and plump female gnoll. She is abnormally small for a gnoll, and abnormally bookish. While most gnolls prefer to be outside vigorously experiencing nature, Mik prefers to stay inside and read about spells, magic and their modern uses. She worships Tatema, the gnoll goddess of knowledge and civilization; Diedar, the god of nature; and Myserne the goddess of magic.
Arkhet is a sleek and suave male gnoll. Arkhet is unusually charming for a gnoll. He is a smooth talker, and even though there is a general dislike for gnolls, some people can convince people to ignore that fact. Arkhet is talented with both his guitar and his voice, and sometimes his practice can be heard echoing out of the slums. He worships Tatema, the gnoll goddess of knowledge and civilization; Ambrew the goddess of mischief and drinking; and Ark the god of luck.
Delving is a competitive dungeon crawling sport in the world of Wayfarer. It consists of two or more teams descending into fabricated dungeons populated with either illusory monsters and threats, or trained professional stunt actors. The participants are judged based on several factors including speed of completion, team synergy, entertainment value and completion of known and secret objectives.
During normal play neither team comes in contact with eachother, though more direct head-to-head competitions exist where the teams must complete goals while potentially being harried by the other team.
An enchantment is placed on the contestants that protects them from death while in the Delving Arena, and healers are kept on hand at all times to ensure that no one dies, though accidents have happened. Some less reputable Delving Arenas do not have these safeguards.
A gnoll team is unheard of in the Delving scene, since Gnolls are heavily looked down upon in the wake of the disaster that was The Great Gnoll War.
Edit: I fixed the picture, so it's actually the right characters.
