Cyrus's parasite, which is what keeps him alive. Removing it would kill him, but that can be risky, since the Wym will defend itself and it's host. It normally lies still inside it's host, moving only to emerge to feed, keeping itself anchored to the host with it's three-pronged tail. It has no eyes, sensing it's world through sound, scent, and vibrations, which it picks up on using the tendrils on it's head. Locomotion is achieved by undulating the spines along it's dorsal and ventral ridges. It feeds by thrashing it's body inside it's victim and raking it's teeth coated in acidic venom.
