Last Halloween, I decided to create a new fursona, this time a monster/beast sona inspired by Beast from "Beauty and the Beast", as in take many elements from different animals and blend them into one character. Thus came Mataur; The Accursed Beast!

Mataur used to be a lowly wolf thief who barely survived on the scraps he could find and the meager loot he would stuff. That was until one day, he sneaked into an old, abandoned mansion who used to be owned by one of the wealthier businessmen in the city, but had gone missing for years with no trace of his whereabouts. Using this opportunity, he breaks into and starts to loot as much as he can as the only one that can say anything may as well be dead! He then runs into a glowing rose made out of precious diamonds. He had scored big! Upon grabbing it, he felt an intense heat coming from his right arm, slowly overtaking his body. Soon his scrawny wolf-self began to gain new appendages, he felt taller, stronger, and more built. Despite a painful cursed transformation, Mataur saw himself as the ultimate thief and a threat to recon with, with a rose tattoo that symbolizes the cursed he was blessed upon.
