One of my favorite characters in a slightly more elaborate version. This version of Ares belongs to the universe of our warrior Kraso, and imagine a great fight between these two, it would be more surprising than against Baldur, I don't know but it would be a very epic experience.
Ares, son of Zeus. He is the god of War in the Greek pantheon, worshiped and respected in Sparta as a great deity who empowers his believers at the time of battle. Although he has also proven to be very hated because he is very arrogant, evil and sadistic, even the other gods feel antipathy for him. It is one of my most powerful and dangerous characters, facing the god of war with violence, hate and anger is not a good idea, since the only thing it does is strengthen it, so it is very feared.

I think you forgot what your father told you, I will refresh you.
Anthony: Father you are a god, because I don't see you so cheerful, what I would give to be.
Kraso: Being a god can mean a life of anguish and tragedy. Being a god, makes me a target of those who want my head, since I can be a threat and we can feel each other, that's why I decided to live as a mortal, live as a normal and simple person, some you will understand son.

True. It usually depends on the fiction. For example, in the Illiad, a famous poem by Homer, a badass soldier (who's name I forgot) manage to wound Ares, but only with the help of a Godded.
In God of War 1, Kratos uses Pandora's box to enlarge himself to face Ares one-on-one.
Yes, i agree. Brute force isnt enough to take down a war god.
