Here is Gunndis [finally named her] and Dippley [as provided by 
thunderstep] a pair of galaxy spanning bounty hunters. Gunndis was famous before Dippley came to her on his knees begging to be her sidekick. She took him in to do her housework and realizing the kid had trained to be her assistant all his life she lets him come with her into the field. 'Course... she keeps him around for other things too besides his skills and his cute looks.

Dippley concept was thunderstep and then given to me, so I guess he's mine too >^.^<

I sense a very powerful Mass Effect aura here. These two remind me of Jacob and Miranda.

How did you learn to draw guns like that? They look very nice.
The most I can manage are Glocks, and I can't even get those right.

Actually she popped up cause I wanted to draw something sci-fi ish. And my Friend thunderstep came up with dippy to be her sidekick. The story worked from there.
I do look at photo refs and RL refs for my drawings. I'll take a bit here and a bit there to combine into the whole. I can't just pull poses out of my head yet I'll admit. Some people call this cheating, I call it using life as an example.
As for the guns, I look at gun refs and then go from there. Adding a bit here, taking a bit there. Got a nice little gun collection of my own that I can look at for references too. I think the techincal aspects of the drafting I used to do help with these too. I'm good at technical things.
