This is a huge clever monster, which is covered with squama on the mane and has a very unusual tail. On its tail, which looks like a spruce branch, new cones grow up from time to time. These cones are the new Guardians of the forest, physically resembling armadillos. Their bodies are also covered with dense squama. They protect the forest from unexpected guests and plant new trees. The Mistress herself rarely shows up, she lives in the deepest part of the forest, where rarely anyone wanders. But she can be "called out" from the forest by bringing an offering. Usually, they collect and bring to the Mistress as many cones from other forests as possible, which she does not control. People bring all this to the edge of her forest and slaughter a large living creature on this heap. By sunset the next day the Mistress usually arrives, along with dozens of her Guardians. No one remembers when she appeared in this forest. But one thing is clear - now it is her possessions and woe to those who enter them without permission.
