Finally, something different.

All those years ago I drew an actual muslim furry, followed by what I thought was a good idea to improvise the Hijab on. Nope. That was anything but a good idea. This time I went back to the classic hijab because I've recently likened them to coifs or nun-hats, and that's totally cool. No obvious showing of muscles in normal clothes, because that way she can robe them clothes off to show her absolutely loaded fighting suit tailored for combat mages.

Backstory? Fatimah is a middle-eastern french serval "Therian" (faux-intelligent synonym for a furry), born into yet another strict middle-eastern family. She fell in love with one guy who is human and is also the only human in the school she goes to, much to her family's dismay. Said boyfriend was also subject to ceaseless mocking from other therians in the school, augmented by the school's very anti-human mentality, to the point where he was ganged up upon and group-urinated on in front of Fatimah, who, at the time, was completely powerless to do anything.

Boyfriend disappeared for roughly 2 days before coming back to school, and starting a very angry school shooting. 90 people became casualties, including Fatimah, caught in the crossfire.

She was among the most seriously wounded, but instead of being comforted in her sick bed while still in hospital, only her angry older brother would visit her, and he would hurl abuse right at her face for landing herself in hospital with a huge bill to go with it, which would then be settled by donators who saw things differently. 2 weeks into her stay in hospital, one of the school's survivors spoke to Fatimah and suggests that her now-volatile boyfriend pulled off the shooting, because he no longer had any idea how to say goodbye to her with the way things worked for him, so he had Fatimah shot multiple times as a "goodbye kiss".

Fatimah obviously couldn't comprehend something so ridiculous at first, but eventually, she wonders if that was the case...

A few months after she was admitted out of hospital, Fatimah argued her way into moving out of her family's household, suffering a torrent of further verbal abuse from her parents and physical abuse from her brother, and decided to look for a job to be part of an agency that dabbles in client protection and other physical errands, well-known for having a majority of the members comprise of female amazons, believing to herself that by changing herself outwards, she'll be good enough to finally meet her boyfriend again, come the day.

As a new recruit with quite a bit of a history, her employers and trainers look at each other many times in doubt and concern about how well she'll fare, especially when she's only just fully recovered from such a horriffic incident. Indeed, the training was quite harsh at the beginning - moreso in that she was pushing it in many occasions.

All of that paid off, however. Fatimah completed her training with satisfactory results, and is now a practitioner of Magic-based Astra conjuration. All she has left to do is to live her new independent life, waiting for her lover to reappear to the world.
