And now they're going at it! XP I've kind of got mixed feelings for this page. On one hand, I really like doing action sequences and don't get to do them enough. I just like closing my eyes and thinking of all the possible moves and combinations of scenes, and how to best show them in the limited amount of space I have available (the hardest part of the task by far).
Theeeen there's the other side, which is drawing what I picture in my head. I'm still not good enough.
I'm very happy with the second to last panel though! Zal sliding under an attack like that while lifting his leg to delive the kick in the next panel! As Forest is finding out, he's hard to pin down during a battle.

It's delightful to read. The level of talent you've attained really is astounding, I don't think that can be said enough.
That said, in an effort to offer constructive criticism, I'm not totally sure about the bottom-left panel. The first few times I looked this over, it was certainly dynamic and active, but I wasn't able to really pick out what was happening (the slide). Once I read your explanation I could totally see it, and it made the transition to the last panel's kick clear and awesome, but it wasn't until reading your explanation that I 'got it'; what's in the panel conveys the high-angle perspective and the position of one of his legs, but without seeing his other leg, some indication of his near proximity to the ground, or some indication of the direction of movement of his body, I don't know if the panel communicates that on its own.
...Having said that, I still have to reiterate that your recent work is just amazing.

I appreciate the critique, and I did think that at one point. Sure, -I- know exactly what's going on (cause its all in my head), but is it really that obvious to everyone else? That's a big problem with doing any picture I think, what to show and what not to show, and having one panel flow more smoothly into the next. It really is the thing that slows me down most...
On this one, I could have shrunken the middle panel and made another, smaller one on the side that would more clearly show that Zal was sliding under Forest's next attack, so that the next panel would be more clear. I think that would have lessened the impact of the middle panel though...I also could have "zoomed" out on that panel too, showing more of his leg rising up off the ground, and showing that he's actually sliding under the attack. But that would have possibly made it less dynamic too. XP
See what I mean? Its always a bit of a give and take with comics. There's not enough room to show absolutely everything I'd like to on each page, so I've got to do an abridged version of what I'm picturing.
Now, if I was doing an animation... :P
Thanks again, and I'm glad any improvements I've made have shown through my work. X3
