Kosmic Rai is the cousin of Jjet Sett, a rather questionable fellow whose appetite for trouble and loose definition of what is legal has gotten him into more than his fair share of scrapes with the law. Nothing too bad, granted--mostly fights and driving charges and refusal to pay "unfair tickets." Maybe selling some bootlegged stuff out of the trunk of his Taurus in the mall parking lot, but whatever.

The two were raised in a close-knit family, having a brother/sister relationship growing up, and Kosmic would do anything just to keep him out of trouble. This often leads to her being an unwitting accessory to his crimes, even if it's just in the role of lying to cover his tracks. In between, she tries to make him straighten up his act, though she never realizes that helping him escape punishment isn't really helping him learn his lesson.

She's a pretty happy-go-lucky person, who is too nice for her own good. She's very peppy, optimistic, and likable, which is half the reason she's able to pull Jjet out of the jaws of the law. She also talks fast and often. While she's capable of being tolerable a great deal of the time, if you manage to strike up a subject she's interested in (mostly video games and anime), she will launch into a one-sided conversation that could span hours.

And you'll just have to sit there and take it.

Jjet is pretty much her only real friend, as he's the only one whose accustomed enough to putting up with her geeky tirades that he can tune them out.
