After a conversation with 
Taigerdragon, I did a quick sketch of his Arcanine OC, Blaze, getting a physical exam from some Nurse Joys at the Pokemon Center. He just went in for a regular check-up, but unfortunately for him, he's quite ticklish. And these nurses already know he's healthy...they just want to watch him giggle. ;)
This might seem silly, but a particular fantasy of mine recently has been the thought of getting tickled accidentally in the doctor's office. You know the part of a physical when the nurse presses her fingers in and rubs around on your liver? I'm still not exactly sure how that helps anything, but when I was a kid, it tickled so bad and I tried so hard not to laugh. XD Anyone else have that experience? The nurse would always say ahead of time "Sorry if this tickles!" and then get right to it, and I would just blush and squirm around. Deep down, I think part of me secretly wished that a cute nurse would hold me down on the cot and tickle me mercilessly. Ooo, I get shivers just thinking about it. XDDDD

Thanks! Taigerdragon and I decided on a scenario where a Nurse Joy secretly has a tickle fetish and enjoys tormenting her buff Pokemon patients. Then he pointed out to me that all Nurse Joys are identical, so if one of them likes to tickle, then they all do. XD

You're absolutely right; it would tickle like crazy. haha I love sponge bath/body scrub tickling...it's one of my favorite scenarios. Actually, I considered putting Blaze here in that situation and even spoke with his owner about it, but I decided against it.

It's funny; I don't run into many people who are into that specific kind of tickling. It's a very underutilized setup, but it's just so sexy and fun. I think the tickle scene in The Prince of Egypt is what made me like it so much. LOL

It's literally the best kind of tickling...just look at my favorites here and on deviantart, lol. And I remember that exact scene.
Not sure about a specific fandom/universe, unless you have one in mind, but a fantasy setting works pretty well. Medieval bathhouses, magical bathing springs, etc.

I imagine the worst thing that Blaze could hear would be for one of the Nurse Joys to say, "I'm afraid you were moving around too much so we're going to have to run the tests again. Please try and hold still this time."
With there always being identical Nurse Joys at every Pokémon centre then if they're all mischievous like this I expect that this goes on a lot, though maybe just 'accidental' most of the time and with Blaze they just couldn't resist and it's perhaps a good thing there wasn't a fourth involved or the poor Arcanine might have had his armpits tickled as well. Hopefully they won't end up getting disciplined for this though I suspect they'll manage to get away with it.

You know that one of them would say this on purpose, regardless of whether or not redoing the tests was necessary.

Yes indeed! He's fortunately never fallen prey to this attack in the ring before...at least, not one strong enough to bring him down...but the possibility always lingers.
