Sort of, it is a card that is free to play, and grants 3 mana of any color( but all must be the same when used) to your pool. The card is not legal to play however in tournaments using legacy cards. Most tournaments are going to be using only the newest set of cards if i remember right as well. Been ages since I have done anything MTG related. Its main value come from its rarity and its age, It was only part of the original releases of MTG back in the early 90's, so these cards are around 30 years old, and not many have survived in good condition as it was a really good card in its time and often used.
